Beausejour, MB – Cobra Enterprises is moving its entire operations to Beausejour, Manitoba after purchasing 11.5 acres of land. The new operations facility will include a 100’ x 108’ production shop for Bison Container Homes, a 46’ x 112’ equipment maintenance building, a 72’ x 60’ storage building, and a 64’ x 60’ office, plus lots of room for future expansion.
“It’s really one of our dreams come true,” said Cobra Enterprises president Tyler Prevost. “When my brother and I founded this organization, growing bigger while constructing high-quality projects was on our minds pretty much every moment.”
Construction began in early August, and the estimated move in date is January 1, 2022.
Cobra Enterprises will then be capable of producing triple the amount of their current capacity (modular homes). The new storage building will also provide space to stock partially or completed modular projects for quick ship orders, something the company received inquiries about in 2020.
“Our housing production is booked up until the end of February 2022, and we still have more requests for projects coming in,” said Cobra Enterprises vice-president Shane Prevost. “After March, we’re aiming to produce eight modular units per month at our new shop. All the while our structures division is in and out given their frequent travel for pre-engineered building installs”
Cobra Enterprises is a national fabric building and modular home provider, operating as four divisions: Cobra Construction (2009), Cobra Structures (2015), Bison Container Homes (2019), and Cobra Mechanical (2020). Together they serve clients with building solutions anywhere from a 24’ x 30’ structure, to a 767 airplane hangar, to a 13-container gym and daycare.
The organization has almost doubled in size within the last calendar year, and is still growing as more projects come in. If interested in working for Cobra Enterprises, visit their careers page for current job postings at www.cobrastructures.ca/careers.
